'Ask Me Who I Am'

A3 limited edition print collaboration between Molly Hankinson and Rachel E Millar.

"We made this piece as a response to countless situations we've found ourselves in as women and as female identifying artists both in male-dominated creative industries, where conversations are had entirely between men without even acknowledging our presence or engaging us in conversation. Not exclusive to work life either and I’m sure the feeling is all-too familiar for many. Sylvia Plath wrote “I am still so naïve; I know pretty much what I like and dislike; but please, don't ask me who I am” - you know what fair enough Sylvia we love you but we would argue even if you don’t know who you are (and that’s okay), it’d be nice to be asked!

Here’s to raising our voices and creating space to be heard!"

29.7 x 42cm archival quality giclee print printed on 305gsm Hahnemule photo rag acid free paper.
