Molly Hankinson is a UK artist based between Glasgow and London. Her work interrogates and celebrates ‘safe spaces and the people who occupy them’, weaving narratives of collective gendered experiences, shared empathy, and radical confidence. Incorporating the aesthetics of bright and considered colour placement with use of continuous line, Molly is particularly interested in how her art can evoke a feeling, offer comfort, and serve as sites of power.
She works across a broad range of artistic practices, from large-scale mural work, to painting, printmaking, and hand-drawn and digital illustration.
She has worked with brands such as The Body Shop, Lucozade, Sky Arts, Fritz Kola, the SFA and FA, and selected charities including Global Network of Sex Work Projects, and Coppafeel!
