Lewisham legends
Mural for London Borough of Culture 2022.
Permanent mural inside Lewisham Shopping Centre inspired by Ono Dafedjaiye and her community work as a taking part assistant for Heart 'n' Soul in Deptford. Heart 'n' Soul is an award winning creative arts company and charity who believe in the power and talents of people with learning disabilities, and Ono was nominated by the local community to be celebrated in this mural as part of the Lewisham Legends Mural Trail for the Mayor of London's London Borough of Culture 2022.
I am currently away on an artist residency at Arteles Creative Centre in Hämeenkyrö, Finland. I will have no access to my phone or the internet whilst I am here, apart from Tuesday 8th, 15th, and 22nd September, where I will be responding to urgent emails only. I am unable to post any shop orders out until I am back in October.
